The Scott Olson Hoax: Self-Immolation as a Political Tool

Anti-Marine activist Scott Olson intentionally jumped on a flash-bang grenade. It was a hoax intended to provide material for anti-cop agitprop. Note his "Christ-like" martyr pose here (left) and compare it to another icon of the Occupiers, Che Guevera (below).
